I have been writing for several years and have pieces scattered around the place like [insert meaningful simile here], so I decided to gather them all up and give them a home. I am additionally a performer, so have written sketch material, both for troupes and for my alter ego Mary Christmas and a show for children that toured the UK and US called The Quest. You can see more about these here www.maggiegordon-walker.com www.marychristmas.co.uk
I have dragged my poor offspring into providing entertainment for your delectation. That can be reached by clicking the My Boys Said That tab.
I have been commissioned to write articles for magazines on a range of topics. I also write about various aspects of parenting, often sparked by something I have read. For The Guardian. Plenty is written and said about motherhood, but not always by the mothers themselves. It is more likely that their thoughts are recorded retrospectively, if at all. Some of these can be seen on the website for my company Mothers Uncovered here www.mothersuncovered.com.
Some of these rants appeared as ‘My Pet Peeves’ for a blog on The Argus. Everyone has pet peeves. Maybe yours is 'people who have pet peeves'. That's fine. You bog off and be peevish about that. These are my peeves and I'll cry if I want to.
I review TV for PauseLiveAction, books and theatre.
